March 2008 Dr Susan Lim, through Centre for Breast Cancer and Surgery, a division of Susan Lim Surgery, organised a one-day Women’s Health Screening event in conjunction with Unifem Singapore and Parkway Group Healthcare. The event reached out to all domestic workers in Singapore offering a free one-day health screening, focusing on breast cancer prevention and early detection. This one-day event was a huge success which saw a participation of over 600 domestic workers. March 2007 Dr Susan Lim was recently a key-note speaker at the International Women's Day 2007 organised by the Australian High Commission, Singapore and the National Committee for United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM).
